ABOUT US:
The Smithers Celebrity Golf Tournament was established in the 1990 with Murray Hawse taking on the initiative to fundraise dollars toward the Child Development Center. Over the years the tournament has grown and the tireless efforts of the dedicated organizing committee has fundraised millions of dollars to help our communities. The past two tournaments have help build the new maternity ward at the hospital as well as the new CT Scanner that Northern Health plans to install in 2019. The Organizing committee is comprised of a diverse group of like-minded community members that want to organize a great event, showcase our beautiful community and help raise dollars to help local charities and projects.

We are excited to announce our charities for the 2022 Tournament proceeds. The BV Health Foundation in support of their need to upgrade specialty lab equipment at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital as well as the Bulkley Valley Youth Sport Foundation, a local charity which provides an opportunity for local youth to experience and advance through single or multisport organizations within the Bulkley Valley.
